Description
Curtiss P-40 1942 P40K N401WH An amazing example of a P-40K WWII Service, Built in 1942. Though allocated to the U.S. Army Air Forces with serial 42-10256, it was delivered to the Soviet Air Force under Lend-Lease. It saw combat on the Eastern Front. It was shot down in September 1943 during combat with four German Bf 109 fighters, and made a forced landing (gear up) near Murmansk, on the Kola Peninsula.
