Description

SOLD - This 160 HP 1975 Piper Cherokee 140 Cruiser has been hangar kept and still shows nice shinny original paint. The Cruiser package included all the upgraded options such as dual toe brakes, elevator trim in center lower console between pilot and co pilot seats, vertical adjust pilot seat, auxiliary outside power receptacle, pitot heat, standard T instrument pane, all switches in lower center quadrant of lower instrument panel, rear baggage area with hat shelf, wheel pants, shoulder harness, etc. Overall the airplane shows very good maintenance history with all of its original logbooks and documents since new. The airplane is ready to fly and enjoy.

About the Piper Cherokee 140

The Cherokee 140 (PA-28-140) is the cheapest way into Piper ownership — the original 1964 entry-level Cherokee with a 140-150 hp Lycoming O-320. Two-plus-two seating (the rear is small) and a 110-knot cruise; widely used as a basic trainer and time-builder. Affordable, simple, but limited useful load with four people.

Produced 1964–1977.
