About the Supermarine Spitfire Mk26 Replica
The Supermarine Spitfire is the most famous British fighter of WWII — instantly recognised by its elliptical wing and Merlin/Griffon V12 soundtrack. As an aircraft for sale it appears in two forms: rare, restored **originals** that rank among the most prized warbirds in existence, and a growing range of **modern replicas** (full-scale Mk26 and scaled types) that deliver the Spitfire silhouette and flying character on a far more attainable basis. Choose deliberately — the two are worlds apart in cost, certification and ownership.
