For sale: 1966 Cessna 150 F Model. Total airframe time: 1780 hours. Total engine time: 1780 hours. Recent top overhaul on millennium cylinders: 320 hours. Magnetos since new: 320 hours. New left-hand muffler installed during October annual inspection. Additional features include MX 300 Nav Com. Transponder mode C, Electronic International fuel flow transducer, spin-on oil filter, Whelen LED tail beacon, ADSB, and recent tires. New wing tips, stab tips, and elevator tips. This airplane has been meticulously maintained. It is a VFR only aitplane from day one with all necessary repairs and all ADs complied with. Logbooks are complete, except for the first airframe logbook, it was lost by the previous owner. Second logbook began in 1981 to present day. Engine logbooks date back to day one...1966. The airplane is in annual, the next annual is due in October 2026. Bluffton flying service in Bluffton Ohio did the annual. Also installed a brand new skull cap and removed the yellow spinner. I do have the original spinner. This would be a great airplane for a young pilot who wants to build time. Located near Napoleon, OH $39000.
About the Cessna 150
The Cessna 150 is the classic two-seat trainer that taught generations of pilots — produced 1958-1977 with a Continental O-200 (100 hp) and a cruise around 97 knots. Simple, cheap to run and one of the most common ways people learned to fly in the latter half of the 20th century. The Aerobat (A150) variant adds aerobatic capability. Limited useful load with two adults and full fuel, but unbeatable as a cost-of-ownership entry into aircraft ownership.
