Manufacturer-published specs for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk 26 model. Actual aircraft may vary by configuration / modifications.
Description
This is a meticulously built 2-seat, 80% scale replica Spitfire, located in Germany but owned by a UK Ltd. company. It's been maintained extensively, freshly serviced and is now ready for an Annual inspection and a new owner. The seller is parting with it due to health reasons and has priced it to sell quickly. Additionally, it comes with an extra electric MT 3-blade hub and jacks for lifting the aircraft. Built in 2007, it has flown only 80 hours and is in perfect technical and cosmetic condition. It's powered by a Jabiru 5100 eight-cylinder engine, with a Sensenich fixed-pitch propeller, capable of reaching max cruise speeds of 140 knots at 2800 rpm and economical cruising at 120 knots at 2600 rpm, consuming 30 liters/hr. This Spitfire offers exceptional performance, low stall speeds, and an impressive sound. Serious buyers only please.
About the Supermarine Spitfire Mk 26
The Supermarine Spitfire is the most famous British fighter of WWII — instantly recognised by its elliptical wing and Merlin/Griffon V12 soundtrack. As an aircraft for sale it appears in two forms: rare, restored **originals** that rank among the most prized warbirds in existence, and a growing range of **modern replicas** (full-scale Mk26 and scaled types) that deliver the Spitfire silhouette and flying character on a far more attainable basis. Choose deliberately — the two are worlds apart in cost, certification and ownership.
