Seller reportedDescription
Like-New Lockwood Aircam Generation III - Turnkey Ready for Summer!! Experience one of the most unique and enjoyable flying platforms ever created. The Aircam delivers an unmatched combination of visibility, versatility, extremely low operating costs, and pure flying enjoyment. Whether exploring remote shorelines, cruising low over scenic landscapes, or enjoying a sunset flight, few aircraft can match the experience. The twin-engine design also provides an added level of redundancy and confidence not found in most recreational aircraft. This Lockwood Aircam Generation III has been meticulously built and thoughtfully equipped. The aircraft features just 57 hours total time since new on both the airframe and engines (times subject to change), and Phase I flight testing has been successfully completed. The panel is centered around a Garmin G3X Touch suite with ADS-B traffic and weather, XM weather, and XM music. Factory options include the full enclosure package, Oregon Aero heated Ultraleather seats, third jump seat, extended step, rear instrument panel, AeroLED navigation and strobe lighting, AeroLED landing light, Tanis engine heaters, float provisions installed for future float or amphibious conversion, upgraded tailwheel with towing axle and tow bar, two Bruce's Aircraft covers, and a battery tender. The aircraft was professionally built by an experienced pilot under A P/IA supervision and has been maintained to an exceptional standard. All applicable Aircam service bulletins and Rotax inspections have been completed. The aircraft was inspected and test flown by Lockwood Aircraft as part of the Special Airworthiness Certificate process. It has no damage history, complete logs since new, and represents a true no-expense-spared build. Skip the multi-year build process and fly one of the most comprehensively equipped late-model Aircams available today. Delivery assistance and a pre-purchase/conditional inspection are welcome. Reason for Sale: Mission change. After 3.5 years of building this dream aircraft, my needs have shifted toward a true family traveling platform. This is a reluctant sale, and I have no doubt there will be another Aircam in my future. If you have been considering owning an Aircam, this is an opportunity to acquire a nearly new, professionally built example without the years of build time, complexity, and uncertainty associated with a new build. Trades considered for a Beechcraft F33A or A36 Bonanza.
